a blue pearl within the stars
full of life and oxygen
but it all turned toxic when
we piled up our waste and poo

because we thought there is no rush
and global warming will just flush

We're going to Mars
because Earth is finished
We're going to Mars
but our supplies are diminished

The trip will take too long
our food supply is gone
but we relish our wisdom
and use cannibalism

We've made it and we are in orbit
because we ate every gore bit
and all that's left is you and me
Mars is ours, you will see
So let's prepare the biosphere
what do you mean with "it's not here"?
It was in storage as you know
but now it seems it has been blown

We arrived at Mars
but we can't leave the capsule
and all that's left to eat
is less than a handful

I guess it all went wrong,
we won't make it for long
and so the human race
